Lewisville Police Seek Help in Aggravated Robbery

Open in new windowThe Lewisville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect. On May 22nd, at approximately 12:30 a.m., an Hispanic male robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 966 South Mill Street.

The suspect entered the store, displayed a large knife and jumped the counter confronting the cashier. The suspect demanded money while holding the knife to the cashier. The suspect removed a small amount of cash from the cash drawer and fled the location.

The suspect can be seen wearing a black/white/gray long-sleeve shirt, black cap and jeans. Video shows the suspect, earlier on the night of the robbery, entering the restroom. The suspect left the store and returned to commit the robbery. The video clips show the actual robbery take place:

Anyone with information on this aggravated robbery should contact the Lewisville Police Department’s crime tip line at 972-219-8477 (TIPS) or Denton County Crime Stoppers at 800-388-8477 (TIPS). You can remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a cash reward.
