At approximately 11:21 a.m. on 08/26/12, officers responded to a residence located in the 2300 block of King Arthur Blvd, to investigate a threat. Officers had received credible information that the subject who resides at this residence had previously threatened to harm his estranged wife, followed by harming himself.

During the negotiations process, the subject exited the rear of the residence and was quickly placed into protective custody, without incident, by members of the SWAT team.
