Ron Neiman
Ron Neiman of Frisco, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his home.

Ron attended Bradfield Elementary, Highland Park Middle School and graduated from Highland Park High School in 1963. He then went to North Texas State University (now known as University of North Texas) and graduated summa cum laude with aB.B.A. in 1967. He then began his lifelong passion for The University of Texas at Austin and became a burnt-orange bleeding Longhorn. He got his J.D. degree from the School of Law in 1970.

Ron's legal career began as a probate attorney with First National Bank in Dallas in 1970. In 1972 he opened his own law office in Lewisville, Texas. His private practice mainly specialized in probate, real estate, corporate, and family law, with a few criminal cases as well. In 1973, the city council appointed him as part- time city attorney for Lewisville and a lifetime of municipal law began. He maintained his private practice with the city as a major client until 2000 when he was asked to become the full-time, in-house attorney, thus closing his private practice. He retired in 2010, having served numerous council members and mayors during those 37 years. Ron was an avid supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and Tom Landry. Like Landry, he used to say that he was appointed to one position for 37 years and never got promoted.


Steven Wayne Allen
Steven Wayne Allen of Lewisville, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2016.

He was born May 13, 1952 in Brownwood, Texas to Wayne and Theresa Allen. He joined his father in heaven at the age of 63.

He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn, his two children, April Edwards and her husband Jeff, Austin Allen and his wife Caycee, three step-children, Nick, Hannah and Jordan Casey, four grandchildren, Abby, Cody, Jack and Kyla, his mother, Theresa Allen, his sister, Sunni Stokeld and her husband, Brian, his brother, Grant Allen and his wife Kristy, and many nieces and nephews.

Anne Marie Harvey - 1/21/1961 - 1/14/2015

Open in new windowAnne Marie Harvey died on January 14th, 2015 due to complications from breast cancer. She was 53.

Mrs. Harvey was born on January 21, 1961 in Denton, Texas to her parents, Rowland and Sienna Harvey. She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1979 and North Texas State University with a degree in Computer Science in 1984 and worked for years as a software engineer. She married Frank Vaughan in 1981. Anne and Frank lived around North Texas, spending free time sailing, traveling, reading, restoring an old house and raising their two children. In 2008, Mrs. Harvey graduated from the University of North Texas (formerly NTSU) with a Masters in Speech Language Pathology. Following her graduation, Mrs. Harvey went to work for Lewisville Independent School District, spending 7 years at Liberty Elementary School as a speech language pathologist.

Mrs. Harvey is survived by her parents, Rowland Harvey and Sienna Hares, her husband, Frank Vaughan, and her children, Hannah and Noah Vaughan. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rowland and Hattie Harvey.

A memorial will take place on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Horizon Unitarian Universalist Church in Carrollton. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lewisville Education Foundation grant in Anne Harvey's name.
